Ever had a leaky flat roof? Our customer did and it didn't seem to matter how many times it was recovered and sealed, the rain just found its way through!
We always like to start at the problem and work our way back. In working this way we ensure that we don't miss anything that could cause further problems for you in the future. We found from our observations and discussions with the client, that there was no utilisation of the flat roof and therefore this is what we agreed upon...
We needed to ensure the angle was great enough to not allow any further 'pooling' of water and that it was consistent with the angle of the tiled roof. As we can manage all aspects of property repairs and maintenance, we had no need to use sub contractors, for all the different aspects of this project. Therefore we could ensure the work was completed to our own high standards and to the agreed cost and timeline.
If this job had been self-managed or through a company that outsources all their work. Well, you would be looking at organising and scheduling at least 4-5 different tradesmen or companies to handle the complexity of this project. Chance are it would have cost more and taken longer too. We proud to be the 'one-stop' solution that we are and even prouder, that we don't sacrifice quality to achieve it.
We understand the importance of working together and getting it done. However, for us it is always about getting it done right, on budget and on time. In some circumstances we may utilise experienced tradesmen. But, these are hand-picked by us and are held to our standard of work.
